Student visa is issued for foreign nationals who intend to study in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Required documents
1. Authorisation number obtained on approval of the Visa department of the Iranian ministry of Foreign affairs, via the Ministry of Science and Higher Education or Ministry of Health and Medical Education .
2. Original passport (valid for minimum next six months)
3. Visa Application Form duly completed and signed by the applicant (one copy)
4-One copies of passport pages
5- Fee (Cash only- inside consulate)
6- Fingers print ( inside consulate )
7-Two photos (3cmx4cm) taken within the past six months, with a plain white background, along with the application form.
8- A “return envelope” with name, address and adequate prepaid postage to cover cost of registered mail.
9 - If you travel less than last year to Iran. you can sent your documents (passport, visa application form and two photographs and authorisation Number and stamp envelopes back and fee of visa ) by post, you do not need to come to the the Consular Section of embassy to follow-up your application or collect your passport. Once your visa application has been processed, your passport will be sent back to you.
Note. The visa process would take between 7 to 10 working days once we have received the application form via post or in person.
